Hyundai Asan started two eco-friendly tour programs in the so-called "Peace and Life Zone(PLZ)" on May 2, 2009. 

The PLZ area covers the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) which separates North and , and its peripheral areas in which civilians are prohibited for security reasons. 

The two-day trip to Yanggu and Seorak in Gangwon Province costs 118,000 won (U$90, U$1 = 1,300 won) per adult and a day trip to Paju and Yeoncheon in Gyeonggi Province cost 46,000 won (U$35). 
The packages include transportation, meals and accommodation.
